Photo: Waking Up To A Breathtaking View Of Mount Kinabalu
This is the scenery that you will get from a balcony of a room in Celyn Resort Kinabalu. The resort is just a touch away (borrowing words from it’s website) from the majestic Mount Kinabalu, Sabah in East Malaysia or Borneo. I was so lucky to capture this moment during my short one night stay here. When I checked in a day before, it was blanketed by clouds and it continue to play ‘hide-and-seek’ all day long until it was totally dark at night. And to my amazement, I woke up the next morning walking out to the balcony and look in awe at what was presented in front of me. The view was so perfect with a breeze of cold and fresh air biting my bare hands. Wish I could wake up to this breathtaking and refreshing scene every morning.
Below are series of photos taken a day before and after the great moment.

and it continues to play hide-and-seek until 6 PM. Now you see it, now you don’t. Had to settle with this view for the day..

Next morning: The cloud has cleared and give way to a stunning view of Mount Kinabalu. I want to be here forever!

Yep, that is one view you could spend a lifetime waking up to and never tire of it. We drove past Mt Kinabalu two years ago on a holiday in Sabah and were lucky enough that the clouds cleared for a few minutes to offer us a great view. But waking up to that … wow!

Tracy,
Yes. Lucky us. At least you got a chance to see it for a few minutes. Some people waited for days to get that opportunity.
