iPhone Cannot Make Outgoing Call Problem
Yesterday I was caught in a panic situation because suddenly my iPhone cannot make outgoing call. Every call i make will immediately failed and the call screen will show ‘Call Failed’. However, incoming call and SMS services were OK. A quick check with my telco revealed that nothing is wrong with my account. Suspecting something amiss with iPhone configuration, I googled for information on this problem and found a few solutions.
One solution even suggested to uninstall everything that I had installed prior to this problem. Luckily, I went for a simpler solution first. This solution suggested to check my ‘Show My Caller ID’ setting and make sure it’s ON. I found out that I had accidentally turned OFF the Show My Caller ID. After turning it ON, my outgoing call is back to normal. Just go to Settings -> Phone and choose Show My Caller ID.
