Why popia? I love popia, or popiah, hence the name of this blog. Popia is a local name for spring roll, or whatever is equivalent to it. But pardon me this blog has nothing to do with this popular Malaysian food. As you can see from the home page title, it’s about travel and technology. Though I may blog about any particular things that crossed my mind at that particular moments.

My current profession is as an IT professional in travel and tourism organization in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After more than 10 years servicing the industry, travel and tourism comes naturally to me. The other half of me is still a tech person who loves gadgets, cracking the iphone, reads thick manual, you know.. all that boring stuffs.

I will try narrowing my blog scope to Malaysian-related content only. Hope that I can play a small part here to promote Malaysian tourism locally and internationally from the blog’s travel section. The technology part will look into travel-related gadgets, apps or tools that can assist travelers make their trips pleasant.
